Alcedo Società di Gestione del Risparmio S.p.A. (“Alcedo”), one of Italy's leading private equity firms, has acquired through a subsidiary a majority stake in Impianti 2000, a leader in the Italian market of distribution systems of technical gases in the health care sector.

 

Impianti 2000 based in Credera Rubbiano (Cremona) and operating in the design and installation of gas distribution systems for a variety of sectors (such as medical, food, chemical), was founded in 2000 and has grown to achieve a significant position in Northern Italy.

 

Alcedo with the acquisition of the majority stake in Impianti 2000 took an important step forward in developing an industrial platform which aims to become the national leader in the reference sector.

 

The current shareholders of Impianti 2000 will support the new partners by retaining a minority stake and their management and operational roles.

 

The sellers were assisted by Credem Euromobiliare Private Banking as exclusive financial advisor.
