NIBE Group, based in Markaryd (Sweden), has been active for over seventy years in the manufacturing of energy-efficient indoor climate solutions as well as components and smart solutions for heating in the industrial and infrastructure applications. The Group operates globally with three Business Units (NIBE Climate Solutions, NIBE Element, and NIBE Stoves) and in 2024 realized consolidated revenues of approximately €4 billion.

 

Selmo, founded in 1988 in Rubano (Padua) is an Italian leading manufacturer of thermostats and electronic control devices for electrical heating, with revenues of around €18 million.

 

With the acquisition of the majority stake in Selmo, the NIBE Group strengthens its strategic positioning in the electric heating market. Selmo will become part of the Business Unit NIBE Element.

 

The current shareholders of Selmo will retain a central role in the company, keeping a minority stake and their management and operational roles.
